Telecommunications Invoice Analyst

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for auditing and analyzing telecommunications provider invoices to ensure accuracy of IQ Telecom clients’ billing. Telecommunications Invoice Analysts compare orders to invoices to determine the authenticity of services billed and conduct necessary research and follow up.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Audit and analyze telecommunication vendor invoices
  • Process invoices using IQ Telecom solution
  • Identify invoice variances and exceptions
  • Open tickets as appropriate an IQ Telecom’s web-based solution, IQ 360⁰
  • Proactively review and maintain customer business rules, follow pre-defined standards
  • Review reports and keep work queue up to date by making sure all assigned accounts are current
  • Interact with telecommunications providers and clients
  • Follow-up on past dues, mis-applied checks, client inquiries and requests for check copies
  • Run reports and resolve issues
  • Manage client charge-back files
  • Support Account Managers by providing data as needed
  • Perform special projects and other duties as directed
Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 4 years of experience in telecommunications payables or high-volume Accounts Payable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical skills with a working knowledge of accounting team structures and processes
  • Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
  • Approach work with enthusiasm and energy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Outstanding follow-up skills

Jeff has been a passionate leader of IT, Operations and Service Delivery teams with an eagle eye for the details that keep operations firing on all cylinders. He embraces the qualities that make clients delighted; agility and thoughtfulness with special projects and requests in addition to managing teams to meet, and frequently outperform, service levels.

Jeff has ITIL and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Services certifications and a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Connecticut State College.

Susan King, Managing Director

Susan has over 20 years of telecommunications experience and has been leveraging her expertise on behalf of IQ Telecom clients for a decade. In addition to being a certified Project Manager, she excels at driving resources, both internal to IQT and those at carrier and ISP providers, to ensure optimal client satisfaction at all times. Her exceptional client stewardship skills enable IQT clients to have complete control over their infrastructure, transparency on costs and accurate budgeting processes. Susan is a consummate project leader with all things related to telecommunications and has been integral to the success of major, transformative initiatives on behalf of IQT’s enterprise clients.

Susan has a degree from Northwestern University and is a certified Project Manager.
